Move For Hunger Food Fight!

October 2014 – We met Max Lowy of Move for Hunger in 2013 and fell in LOVE!  Max and his family is as PASSIONATE about making a difference as we are.

As Realtors, we see people throw out a lot of stuff when they move. Unfortunately, some of that “stuff” is food. Max and his team showed us how the nationwide network of Move for Hunger moving companies volunteer to go to the homes of our sellers, pick up the non-perishable items and deliver the food directly to a local foodbank.

When Move for Hunger challenged ERA Central with collecting 500 pounds of food and raising $500, we said, “You’re on!  But we’d like to up the ante – we want to have a food fight between other ERA offices in New Jersey.”  Max said, “BRING IT ON!”
